![]() ![]() Now I am almost the leader of a small friend group. SOME OF THEM DON'T EVEN SHOWER.īecause of those reasons and covid, I stopped talking to those guys and started to create a little friend group. And I was already considering to stop talking to my classmates because all they do is play basketball, football and talk about those things all the time. (btw, I am a 17 year old male.)ĭue to Covid-19, our schools have been shut down for at least 16 months. Something similar happened to me a few months ago. ![]() I don't feel forced to laugh at stupid jokes, absorb their limiting beliefs or hear endless complaining anymore. I don't feel obliged to participate in activities that I find a waste of time now. ![]() I guess that was the breaking point for me. I didn't realize how bad things were until I was having a discussion with them, and realized how dumb they were. I know, I know, it sounds all condescending and all of that, but I am just being honest. I do hope that I can find someone on the same mental level as me now. What they laugh about, talk about, just disgusts me. They also wasted a lot of time doing nothing, judging people as if they were any good (I am doing this right now, but the difference is that I know them personally to say those things). The more time passed, the more I realized that their beliefs and negative limiting patterns were dragging me down. I don't feel like interacting with my "friends" anymore.
